Private eFoil lessons · Algarve
The moment you leave the water.
An electric hydrofoil lifts you clean off the surface. No engine noise, no wake, no waves to fight. Most people who message us have never stood on a board of any kind.

- 1-on-1
- Never a group. One instructor, one rider, every session.
- 2
- Boards. That is the whole fleet — two sessions a day, one morning and one afternoon, then we are full.
- 2
- Waters. The sea under the cliffs of Praia da Falésia, or a reservoir near Silves. You choose.

- Experience needed. Most people who book have never stood on a board.
Surfing makes you fight the wave. Kitesurfing makes you fight the wind. An eFoil asks you to do neither.
01
Why beginners fly
Flat water is the whole trick.
On an eFoil you squeeze a trigger and the board does the rest. What matters is the water being flat, and the Algarve has flat water on most days, if you know which water to go to.
So we keep two. The sea off Praia da Falésia, under the red cliffs between Vilamoura and Albufeira — voted the best beach in the world by Tripadvisor travellers in 2024 — and Barragem do Arade, a reservoir in the hills near Silves with no tide and no swell. When one has a chop on it the other usually does not, so wind rarely has to cancel a session.

02
How a session goes
Ninety minutes, and no surprises in them.
01
You message us a date
WhatsApp, usually. Tell us when you're around and roughly what you weigh — that decides which wing goes on the board.
02
You pick the water
The cliffs at Praia da Falésia or the flat reservoir near Silves — your call. If the wind is wrong for it on your day, we tell you and suggest the other.
03
Fifteen minutes on land
How the board lifts, how the throttle works, how to fall off properly. Nobody gets pushed into the water confused.
04
Then you fly
Knees first, then one foot, then standing. Most people are up and flying inside the first half hour.
05
Your film arrives
We film the whole session on a GoPro, and the edit lands on your phone within two days. Want it from the air too? Drone footage costs extra, when our pilot is free that day.
Ninety minutes is plenty for a first time, and a charged battery outlasts it: it is never the battery that ends your session, and we never run one flat.

Sessions
Prices, in full, here.
First Flight
Most bookedYour first time on an eFoil, start to finish. Most people are flying before the session ends.
Progression
For riders who have already flown. Longer flights, tighter turns, carving both ways.
Golden Hour
The last slot of the day, when the water goes glassy and the light does the work. One booking per day.
Two Riders
Two people, two genuine one-to-one sessions, run back to back on both boards. You watch each other fly.
Full Flight
First Flight plus two Progression sessions. Three sessions is where most people stop thinking and start riding.
Supervised Ride
Board time for riders who no longer need coaching. Always supervised — that is how the law works here.

Included, not extra
You will want the footage. Everyone does.
Most schools charge forty or fifty euros for photos and then send you a folder of stills. We film every session as standard and send you the edit on WhatsApp within two days. Shots from the air are a paid extra, when our drone pilot is free.
It is not a marketing add-on. It is the reason a session is worth more than an hour of your holiday, and it is why our prices sit where they do.
04
Where we ride
Two waters. You pick one.
01
Praia da Falésia
Open sea below the red cliffs, glassy on a calm morning
02
Barragem do Arade
Freshwater reservoir in the hills — no tide, no swell

Check a date →How we read it
Sunrise to sunset. Each water gets the word for its better half of the day, judged on wind and, at sea, waves. Golden hour is the last hour before sunset. It is a forecast, not a booking: you pick the water, and if the wind turns against it we tell you.
Good day to fly?
A forecast, not a booking. You pick the day and the water; if the wind turns against it, we tell you.
Further ahead
An early look, and it will change. Check back a few days before — or send us your dates and we'll keep an eye on them.
Two boards
Some days that means we are full.
There is no booking calendar here on purpose — the tide and the wind decide what is actually possible, and only a person can tell you that. Send us a date and you will get a straight answer, not an automated one.
