The best thing we have ever ridden, taught properly.
Eleva is a small operation on the central Algarve coast, run by people who have spent years teaching beginners to ride electric boards. We started it because eFoiling is the best thing any of us has ever ridden, and we wanted to teach it the way we would want to learn it: one person at a time.
Why one rider at a time
Almost every watersport school in the Algarve teaches in groups because groups are how you make the numbers work. On an eFoil it does not work — a beginner needs someone watching them continuously for the first hour, and a board sitting idle while three people take turns is a board nobody is learning on. So we took the other decision and built the prices around it.
Why we drive to the water
A fixed pitch on one beach means you cancel every time the wind turns. The boards travel with us to whichever water you choose — the sea at Praia da Falésia or the reservoir near Silves — and if the wind is wrong for it, we tell you and suggest the other. It means we run on days other operators do not.
Why the film is included
Because you will fly for the first time exactly once, and because charging forty euros afterwards for something we were always going to film feels like a trick. It is in the price. It is the reason the price is what it is.
On land, too
The same people run Ewheelo, electric bike tours along the cliffs, and Onewheel Algarve, the Onewheel rides and races, if you fancy something on land after the water.
The paperwork
Plenty of watersport operators here run on a WhatsApp number and a hope. We would rather you could check us.

Working with hotels, villas and concierges
If you look after guests in the Portimão, Lagoa, Albufeira or Vilamoura area, we work on a standing referral arrangement and can collect from most properties.
