- Do we need any experience?
- None at all. The camp is designed for complete beginners. Most people are flying by the end of Day 1.
- When does the camp run?
- April, May, and October — the shoulder season, when the weather is warm, the water is calm, and the island is quiet. We run it on dates that work for you, not on a fixed schedule.
- How many people?
- Two to five. The house has two bedrooms and we have two boards, so riders take turns. Two or three is the natural group size — four or five works, but each person gets less water time per day. Message us with your number and we tell you how the schedule looks.
- What is included?
- Everything except your flight to Faro. Accommodation, all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), boat transfers to the island, all equipment, coaching, video, and a progression certificate.
- What about the food?
- All meals are included. Breakfast and lunch at the house, dinner at the house or at one of the island's restaurants. We handle everything — you just turn up hungry.
- What if the weather is bad?
- The water inside the Ria Formosa is sheltered from almost everything — that is why we chose it. If a day is genuinely unrideable, we extend the camp or reschedule. You do not lose a session.
- Can I bring someone who does not ride?
- Yes. The island has long beaches, clear water for swimming, and walking trails through the dunes. It is a good place to be even without a board.
- How do we book?
- Message us on WhatsApp with the dates you are thinking about and how many riders. We confirm availability and send you a booking link. A deposit holds the dates.
